Formentera forms together with Eivissa(Ibiza) the archipelago of the Pitiüses islands (pine-tree islands).
The island-which has a surface of 84 sq. km. and some 7500 inhabitants- contains all the necessary touristic services and its quietness and excellent climate make it an ideal place for a holyday any time of the year.

The island has several exceptional beaches to relax and enjoy the sun, far from the overcrowding of other places.
The changes suffered during the last few years haven’t affected its natural areas-which are many and easily accessible - or destroyed the cultural identity of an island that is well worth a visit.
